Get four eggs weigh them then get the same weight of sugar, butter and self raising flour.
Cream the butter and sugar then add the eggs one by one then slowly add the flour.
That is it!
You cannot make a mistake!
Bake in an oven at around 180c when you can put a needle in and it comes out clean it is done.
You can decorate it by cutting fruit on top or make it into a muffin.
